Greetings
Praise Jesus, Amen ! I love you.
This is Father Oh Woong-jin from Kkotdongne.
In 1976, Kkotdongne began with the realization that "even the strength to beg is a grace from the Lord"
through the life of Choi Gwi-dong, who had dedicated his life to helping homeless people who could not even beg for alms, even with a tin can, for over 40 years. Kkotdongne has transcended religion and nationality, acting as an apostolate to save the lives of the poor, the naked, the hungry, and those dying on the streets, based on the words of Jesus, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me (Matthew 25:40)".
The world Kkotdongne dreams of is
"a world where no one is left behind, a world
where everyone is revered as God,
a world where we love our neighbors as ourselves . "
I may be weak, but I will give my life. Let's work together. I love you.

you did for me.

LA Lynwood Kkottongnae
In the United States, Kkottongnae began when Mr. Seok-won Yoon (Joachim), a Korean-American member, collected membership fees and sent them to Korea. In 1985, following the encouragement of the founder, Father Oh Woong-jin, he began raising funds with the goal of establishing Kkottongnae in the U.S. After years of prayer and effort, on August 20, 1998, a sister from the Sisters of Jesus’ Kkottongnae was sent to serve the local apostolate for our Korean-American community in Los Angeles — especially those who were “without support and without even the strength to beg.”
On May 12, 1999, the sisters established the first Kkottongnae community in Downey, LA. After securing a new home, they moved on August 15, 2000, to Linwood, LA, where a blessing ceremony was held.
The founder, inspired during prayer, proclaimed that “Linwood Kkottongnae will serve as a stepping stone to expand into other regions.”
Following this, Kkottongnae extended its mission to Temecula and New Jersey in 2002, and by 2005, communities were established in Georgia and across Latin America.
